A good month for new institution support

We’re really on a roll now. The month of June was a particularly good month for adding support for new institutions – 16 new sites now supported. Travelers Insurance: Travelers is the largest US insurance company by market value. It has headquarters in St. Paul, MN and Hartford, CT.

 

Banana Republic Store Card: Now owned by Gap, Banana Republic was originally founded as a tropical travel-themed clothing company in 1978.

 

Old Navy Store Card: Also owned by Gap, Old Navy opened its first stores in Northern California in 1994.

 

Walmart Discover Card: Walmart, founded by Sam Walton in 1962, is now the 18th largest public corporation. Its headquarters are in Bentonville, AR.

 

Amazon Store Card: The world’s largest online retailer, Amazon was founded by Jeff Bezos in Seattle, WA in 1994.

 

Lowe’s Store Card: Lowe’s is a US-based chain of retail home improvement and appliance stores founded in 1946. It serves over 14 million customers a week.

 

Home Depot Store Card: Founded in 1978, The Home Depot is now the largest home improvement retailer in the United States. It is based in Atlanta, GA.

 

Shell Gas Card: Based in Houston, TX, Shell Oil Company is the US subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell – one of the largest oil companies in the world.

 

CenturyLink: A broadband and telecommunications company founded in 1968. CenturyLink recently acquired Embarq and Qwest.

 

Cox Communications: Serving over 6.2 million customers, Cox is the third-largest cable television provider in the US. It is a subsidiary of Cox Enterprises and is headquartered in Sandy Springs, GA.

 

US Bank Home Mortgage: US Bank is the fifth largest commericial bank in the US. While we have been supporting this institution for awhile, we have just added support for its home mortgage site.

 

Dish Network: The largest satellite broadcaster in the US, Dish serves over 14 million customers throughout the US.

 

Vanguard: Vanguard is a US investment management company based in Malvern, PA. Founded in 1975 by John C. Bogle, Vanguard is credited with the creation of the first index fund available to individual investors.

 

TIAA-CREF: Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association – College Retirement Equities Fund is the leading retirement provider for people who work in the academic, research, medical and cultural fields.
